Summer!

Taking some time out of vacationing for an update!

I’ve been loosening up from portraiture painting, this summer, working on landscapes and a bit more illustrative subject matter.

I’m painting on a series of drum heads for C&C Drums here in the Kansas City area. We hope to have a section open through their shop, soon, and make these available to musicians. The feedback has been great so far, and they’re definitely fun to paint!

I’ve kept the focus of these pieces on traditional landscapes and plein air paintings. They make for some classic looking drum heads. I’ll be expanding into more commissions and subjects as these start moving out.
