UPDATE!
A bit quiet, but still moving strong. Started work on a commission this week, an image of Patti Smith photographed by Robert Mapplethorpe. Above is some prep work for the painting, stretching on a 20” x 20” frame. Sized the canvas this afternoon, and after drying this evening, gesso and staining tomorrow. A bit behind…

Today’s session was about fixing some proportion/placement problems. This shot picked up random red tones, though hopefully shows off some browns working to ultimately balance my blue.
